More than just a pretty floor

Garage and basement floors take a different kind of abuse than industrial facilities, but they still need a coating that handles vehicle traffic, oil and chemical spills, moisture vapor and temperature swings without peeling or flaking within a few years. The difference between a floor that lasts and one that fails comes down to proper surface preparation and the right product for your conditions.

We install garage and basement floors across Indianapolis and Indiana, and into Wisconsin and Michigan, for homeowners and commercial property owners who want a floor that performs as well as it looks. From single-car garages to multi-bay shops and finished basements, we assess your slab, test for moisture and install the right system. Flake epoxy, solid color epoxy and polyaspartic systems are all available depending on your goals, budget and how the space gets used.

Finished garage floor coating with a flake broadcast

What makes a professional garage floor worth it?

Resists oil and chemical spills

A sealed epoxy surface keeps oil, fuel and chemicals from soaking into the concrete.

Moisture and vapor resistant

The right system and prep keep moisture vapor from lifting the coating off the slab.

Hides surface imperfections

Flake and broadcast systems conceal minor cracks, stains and blemishes in the existing slab.

Slip-resistant finish

Textured topcoat options provide safe traction even when the floor is wet from rain or washing.

Easy to clean

The smooth sealed surface wipes clean with a mop, with no more scrubbing bare concrete.

Fully customizable look

Choose from solid colors and flake blends to match your style and space.

Our installation process

Every garage and basement floor we install is prepped and built to last well beyond what a DIY kit can deliver.

  1. Consultation and site assessment

We assess the slab, test for moisture and recommend the right system for your garage or basement.

  2. Surface preparation

Diamond grinding opens the concrete profile and removes existing sealers, paint or contamination.

  3. Crack and joint repair

All cracks, spalls and control joints are repaired and ground flush before coating begins.

  4. Primer and base coat

An epoxy primer seals the slab, followed by the base coat in your chosen color.

  5. Flake broadcast or decorative finish

Vinyl flakes or decorative elements are broadcast into the wet base coat for texture and appearance.

  6. Topcoat and final finish

A clear polyaspartic or urethane topcoat seals the flakes and delivers a durable, long-lasting finish.

★★★★★
Their work on my garage floor was nothing short of miraculous as it looked pretty bad. The concrete was poured in 1989! Alex and Luke were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and were perfectionists. It was a great experience!

How long does a garage epoxy floor last?

A properly installed garage epoxy or polyaspartic system typically lasts 10 to 15 years with routine cleaning. The biggest factors are surface preparation and the product system used. Big-box DIY kits fail quickly because they skip proper prep and use thin, low-grade products.

Can you install over an existing garage floor coating?

It depends on the condition of the existing coating. If it is well bonded and in good shape we can sometimes install over it. If it is peeling, flaking or poorly adhered, it needs to come off first. We assess this during our site visit.

My garage floor has moisture coming up through the slab. Is epoxy still an option?

Moisture vapor is the most common cause of epoxy failure in garages and basements. We test for moisture before specifying a system and use moisture-tolerant primers and formulations when vapor transmission is present. In severe cases we may recommend a different system entirely.

How long before I can park on the new floor?

Polyaspartic systems cure fast enough for light foot traffic within a few hours and vehicle traffic within 24 hours. Standard epoxy systems typically need 72 hours before vehicles drive on them. We give you a clear timeline based on the products used.

What is the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic for a garage floor?

Epoxy is a proven system with excellent adhesion and chemical resistance. Polyaspartic cures faster, has better UV stability so it won't yellow in sunlight, and is more flexible. Many garage installations use an epoxy base with a polyaspartic topcoat to get the best of both.

Industries we install it for

We specify and install this system most often for these facilities.
