Built tough. Finished clean.
Polished concrete is a mechanical grinding and densification process that hardens and refines an existing concrete slab into a smooth, reflective surface. Rather than adding a coating on top, we work the concrete itself, which means no peeling, no delamination and no ongoing recoating costs down the road.
We polish concrete for facilities across Indianapolis and Indiana, and into Kentucky and Tennessee. From warehouses and distribution centers to showrooms and manufacturing floors, we dial in the finish level to match your traffic load, lighting conditions and appearance goals. Every project starts with a thorough assessment of the existing slab, so we know exactly what we are working with before grinding begins.

What makes polished concrete stand out?
Extremely long lasting
Polished concrete does not peel, chip or wear away like surface coatings.
Lower lifetime cost
No recoating, no stripping and no waxing keeps long-term maintenance costs low.
Highly reflective surface
The reflective finish bounces light around the room and reduces the need for additional lighting.
Resistant to heavy traffic
The hardened surface handles forklifts, pallet jacks and constant foot traffic without early wear.
Easy to clean
The smooth, closed surface resists dust buildup and wipes clean in minutes.
Customizable finish levels
We match the sheen level to your space, from a matte industrial look to a high-gloss finish.
Available finish levels
The right level depends on your traffic load, lighting conditions and the look you want.

Flat
Matte, no reflectivity. Light grinding removes surface laitance and opens the concrete but leaves a flat, non-reflective finish.

Satin
Low sheen with minimal reflectivity. Finer grinding passes begin to close the surface for a smooth, clean look without gloss.

Semi-gloss
Moderate reflectivity. The surface reflects light and shows depth, and aggregate and cream finish options become more visible.

High gloss
Full mirror-like reflectivity. Maximum grinding and polishing passes produce a deep, reflective surface that bounces light across the room.
Our installation process
Every polished concrete floor we deliver follows a precise, proven process built for lasting results.
Consultation and site assessment
We assess your slab condition, moisture levels and finish goals before any work begins.
Initial coarse grinding
Heavy diamond tooling removes old coatings, high spots and surface laitance to open the concrete.
Crack and joint repair
All cracks and control joints are filled and stabilized before densification begins.
Densifier application
A chemical hardener penetrates the slab and reacts with the concrete to increase surface density.
Progressive fine grinding
Successively finer diamond grits refine the surface and build toward the target sheen level.
Final polish and sheen setting
The finishing pass locks in the gloss level and a stain guard is applied to protect the surface.
Polished concrete FAQs
Have a question we haven't answered? Call (317) 525-1154 and talk to the crew that does the work.
We have a trucking company shop in Greenwood, Indiana. Alex came out the same day to look and answer our questions, sent pricing and options the next day, and the crew finished a week ahead of schedule. Our new polished concrete floor not only looks fantastic but created a great work environment for our shop employees.
How long does it take to polish a concrete floor?
Project timelines depend on the size of the space and the condition of the existing slab. We will give you a clear timeline estimate after we assess the site.
Can polished concrete be done on an old or damaged slab?
In many cases, yes. Minor cracks, surface pitting and old coating residue can often be addressed during the grinding stages. Severely damaged slabs may need repairs before polishing begins. We evaluate the slab first, so there are no surprises.
Is polished concrete slippery?
It can feel smooth underfoot, but properly polished concrete meets standard slip resistance requirements. We can also apply a penetrating hardener or anti-slip additive if your facility has specific safety requirements.
How do you maintain a polished concrete floor?
Routine dust mopping and occasional damp mopping with a neutral cleaner is all it takes. There is no waxing or buffing required. A reapplication of densifier every few years keeps the surface in good shape.
Does polished concrete work in facilities with heavy machinery?
Yes. The densification process hardens the surface and increases its compressive strength, making it well suited for environments with forklifts, heavy carts and manufacturing equipment.
